Masterful. Unchallenged. Sublime. A game so good it's ilegal.

Why did none of the sequels keep the Electric Guitar weapon!? Boggles the mind!

Started Chris' story and all I saw were explosions and soldiers screaming "alpha charlie bravo team delta" What is this? Call of Duty? Uninstalled.

This game is the ultimate tease. It swoons you in with its lovely aesthetics and fairly novel central gimmick but the combat never quite delivers beyond jank and you keep digging and digging, waiting for the game to introduce something to make it better and it never comes.

I honestly do not like the Golden additions, they hamper the flow of the story and detract from the social commentary. The graphics are also downgraded from the PS2 version with less deliniated fog rendering and some questionable texturing. Not exactly a bad way to play Persona 4 but not nearly as soulful as the PS2 version.

Yes, the game loses all of its steam after the first dungeon. Yes, you will want to strangle the cat. Yes, most of the girls exist to make your dick hard. It's still a grand RPG with a first-rate presentation.

2022

The most consistent of the God of War games. Lands like a thunderbolt in the first act with the Colossus of Rhodes and never lets up. Also features some truly jaw dropping graphics for a Playstation 2 game.

The lego Star Wars games prove that even the most outwardly toyetic and commercialised concepts for games can turn out to have soul and integrity. Had lots of fun playing this with my friend back in the day.

Has that peculiar Grasshopper quality wherein the game's outright novelty pulls you through the jank. Like jetskiing in a swamp.

Funny how the game is called Let it Die and it died within a month.

Multiplayer is great
Singleplayer is a glorified zombie cover shooter
The DLC is pandering pedo bait
