You ever walk by the game case at Walmart and see games that look cool but are unsure about buying them? That was this game for me. I was living in Alaska at the time and new games weren't always stocked on a regular basis. I was looking for new games since I had just purchased a used Xbox One. Saw the game and thought "Well I love LoTR I should enjoy this" and enjoy this I did. It was one of those games I couldn't put down. I would sometimes ignore the story just to hunt down orcs. When I heard they were making a sequel I immediately preordered a digital copy.
The mechanics were fun, the nemesis system was great, and the overall look and feel was everything I expected and more!

I have exhausted myself on this series in my review for Hitman 2.
Preordered this game and played the living hell out of it. Ended up finishing the game on my birthday. I bought the ultimate edition that gave me access to the prior 2 games with expansions plus future expansions for Hitman 3.
I just really love this series. Doing a fresh 3 game run through soon.

I didn't think id like this game as much as I did. If memory serves me right, bought it on sale and just lost track of time playing it. Before I knew, the platinum trophy popped.
I 100%ed this game all the through the DLCs.
I can't say I would ever revisit this game even though the account I got the platinum on is long lost. I will say I am looking forward to the true sequel.

This sequel did not disappoint. I have played it across 3 platforms so far and haven't had a complaint yet. Having the digital deluxe that allowed me to play the first game within this one was a plus too. Many hours were invested into this game as it remains at the top of my all time favorites.
Every gaming year it ages like fine wine.
IO Interactive understands the formula and didn't bother changing it between games and just giving us great missions to compliment the Hitman mechanics.

Bought this at Gamestop used since I never got to play it back when it came out. I think the having to buy the episodes as they released it what kept me away, but got the complete edition and played through the missions multiple times and loved every second of it. I believe they had just announced Hitman 2 and I preordered shortly after finishing this game.

I got this game while recovering form a car accident since I was out of work and needed to something to keep me busy.
What an amazing title. In the short span of 2 weeks I think I logged over 200 hours into this game.
I am writing this almost 5 years after I beat so trying to remember everything I want to say will be rough.
All in all, I loved this game so much I found all the shrines, beat all the DLC, and got the motorcycle. Just didn't wanna commit to finding korok seeds.

Need a mindless game to play? This is the game for you.
you kill spiders with a range of unnecessary items.
Beat it in about 3 hours. Nothing Special

Another game I thoroughly enjoyed.
I actually did not rush through this game and explored as much as I could and still beat this games 15 chapters in under 6 hours (in game time according to save files)
The continuation of Issac Clark's story with his voice actor was fun. Introduced classic and new enemies as well as a bunch more weapons to unlock and craft.
I think by chapter 8 I was already fully upgraded on my RIG, Stasis module, and plasma cutter that anything the game through at me was going down in 1-2 shots.
I enjoyed this game so much, I saw steam had it on sale for 4.99 and bought it so I can continue to replay it even after I no longer have Game Pass.

This sequel took everything you learned from the first game and through it out the window.
Gone are the collection focused mission and introduced was a open world-esque version.
Traveling the map to different area to complete a variety of missions (fetch, delivery, racing, enemy elimination, etc)
Game was pretty short and didn't take long at all. A pretty good remaster.

Let me tell you something... THIS GAME IS HARD AS FUUUUUUUUCK.
Yet nothing gives you a better feeling than finally beating a boss you've been stuck on and progressing.
I started this game almost 6 months ago and with the help of my boy Mush, we completed the main story.
Apparently there's more but it requires a whole another playthrough with more focuses on exploring and that's not something my brain can handle at this time.
The visuals were stunning, the enemy designs were fantastic and challenging, and over all gameplay was nice once you picked up a groove.
Hands down the hardest title I've played yet and that includes Sekiro AND Demon's Souls.
If you like games that test your patience and humbles you constantly, this is the title for you.

Now I was thrown for a loop with this one. I remember buying this game when it came out and could have sworn I already beat it as I did with GoW past.
Through the first 2 acts I wasn't getting achievements as I'd already gotten them. Yet mid way through act 3 I started popping story related achievements.
I NEVER FINISHED THIS GAME. Don't how or why but it took me 7 years later to knock it out.
It's Gears of War so theres not much to go on about, just another Xbox classic.

I didn't think this sequel would live up to the standards of the first game, but boy was I surprised.
This go-round they introduced an open-ish world feel with buildings you could discover, enter, and loot for weapons and upgrades.
The arsenal of weapons was like double the first game.
The story kept me engaged so much I couldn't put it down.
The Evil Within series is officially in the top cut of survival horror for me.

It hurts to rate this one the way I will be giving it.
This game strayed so far away from what a MGS game is. Sure the graphics and controls were fresh and modern but the story left a lot to be desired.
Personally this ranks dead last for in terms of mainline MGS games.
I wanted to get the true ending but after seeing what I will need to accomplish it, I don't think I can muster another 20 hours to get it done.
Gonna finish Quiet's story line and call it a wrap. "Main story" was achieved.

Played this game once before when it released. For some reason I just couldn't get into it.
Upon playing it again and once I got used to the combat the game was a breeze.
Not much to say about, wasn't overly impressed. I hope the sequel more than makes up for it's lackluster predecessor.

Hands down, one of the best games I've played.
This remake was a masterpiece. The atmosphere was amazing, the graphics were amazing, and it was extremely enjoyable.
I played most of this on the Steam Deck and the seamless transition back and forth to pc was so smooth.
Will 100% be doing an impossible run when I start to revisit games.
