My Year in Games: 2024
A ranked list of all the games I played in 2024.
I'll be following the same format from last year with a points system to gamify the list. This year, I'll be shooting for 100 games again, although I don't expect to clear, or even come close to, the bar I set for myself in 2023.
Points given according to the following criteria:
1 point for:
- 1 full playthrough of a game, on any difficulty setting.
- Full replays of games played in years prior. Replays in the same year do not count.
- 3 hours of playing an endless game (e.g. competitive shooters, fighting games, etc.)
- Completion of all available non-optional content in an early access game.
0.5 points for:
- Finishing a game that takes 1 hour or less to beat.
- Incomplete plays.
- Completing DLCs, regardless of playtime.
- Platinum trophies and equivalents.
- Less than 3 hours playing an endless game.
Total Points Tally: 8

Cruelty Squad is great and I'm excited for Psycho Patrol R. By year's end, if I've played like 100 games, it will probably still be in the top 20 or so.
