A totally different experience from what I'm used to. Mega Man X is one of those games that I wouldn't play by myself without a direct recommendation from a friend.

I'm a guy used to a slower pace of gameplay, so I had some difficulty adapting to a game where I have to react faster and my jumps and shots need to hit with precision. In fact, even in the final boss battle, I was having a hard time adapting to his patterns.

While playing I found myself irritated and a little frustrated with some bosses but after understanding their movements and defeating them a great sense of "growth" and "pride" hit me, the idea of being able to overcome difficulties by being persistent and improving gives me a joy so great that it is difficult to put into words.
