Fallout 4
Bethesda. Bethesda never changes.
In the year 2024, I played Fallout new Vegas for the first time, I wondered how I missed out on such a great game. I decided to play the next game in the franchise, Fallout 4, developed by Bethesda, a studio known for its bugs, but I was hopeful. On May 6th I bought Fallout 4.
The World awaited Armageddon, instead something miraculous happened. I opened the game, and I enjoyed it, sure it had a few bugs here and there, but overall, it was great, the shooting was fun, the music was great, and I had a great time. But then after playing for a couple of hours I woke up from the Bethesda dream.
Hours of consumption lead to shortages of content every major decision led to nothing. The entire world unraveled. Actual decision making and a functioning game became a distant memory.
It is now still the year 2024. I beat the game, and when the final cutscene played, it crushed, no matter what I did. I had to skip it and watch it on YouTube. Now I am afraid to play the other Bethesda Fallout game, Fallout 3
Because if my time with fallout 4 taught me one thing: it's that Bethesda, Bethesda never changes.
