It showed a furry to scare me

The main problem with DDS:MT is that the game is better as a companion piece to the novels, most criticisms i can make about the gameplay i can also still make in the Shin Megami Tensei games, however, do not stay away from this game out of fear of it being "tedious", the game is quite short and straightforward with only two moments where i had to backtrack, i do admit that most of my enjoyment of this game came from reading the fact that i began the novels with it and my years as a megaten fan, but with how much i hear people talk about how "dread some" playing this is, i can't help but feel the game gets hated for things most old school smt games also do

The designs, atmosphere, setting and overall style of this game is amazing, the GUMP is my favorite COMP in the entire megaten franchise, i also kind of like the loyalty system and feel like it fits the game quite well, demon interactions (with how a demon that belonged to the previous owner of the GUMP deciding to join you because you have it) are great and full of personality, combat wise it's just simple systems so i don't have much to say about it, neither bad or good, however storywise i wish the game didn't pull out the same card 5 times just for a character you saw 3 times to just outright say it to you and the game just ending shortly after

Overall good game but so short i can't really say much about it, mostly good ideas but i kind of wish they did more with this, such a cool game that can be finished in just a couple of minutes

Fun as hell, I really don't get why it's so divisive, because of 3 bullshit levels?, despite it being so fun, creative and charming that's all it took?

SOUL, fun even if it's the slop kind of fun, also anyone that says it's best played with a traditional controller is lying

The type of game that people refuse to play because a guy on reddit told them something he didn't even research about, the "slow" version of the game is the PSP one, the menus on that version are slow and they tried to make the game feel more like a traditional turn based game, when it is meant to be in a mix of turn based and autobattler, one of the greatest writing on the Persona and Megaten franchises (upon which it's gameplay mechanics also build upon)

Better than Episode 1, but since I'd still say the original Half-Life 2 is the best one, great campaign that remains consistent from beginning to end, getting 100% can be tiresome if you miss something (thank god i somehow managed to get all grubs on the first try)

Due to it's shorter size and less focused level design if we compare it to Half-Life 2, it does end up being a slightly less fun experience if you play it normally, HOWEVER, the best one in the franchise when it comes to completing it, no clue why it's the only one that challenges you with completing the game only using the Gravity gun, but god is it fun to do so, also made me notice how great of an NPC companion Alyx is

An overall upgrade from Half-Life 1, the gun play feels better, puzzles using the source engine are a lot more engaging and the more focused storytelling is great as well, getting all achievements was nothing of note however, some joke achievements but that's kind of it

More focus on action and overall more challenging than both Half-Life and Blue shift, but not much more to offer other than that, i'd say it's better than Blue Shift, worse than Half-Life

The weakest game in the franchise, not bad, but not worth much in terms of experience, only really being notable for slight world building however it is a very short expansion, so why not

The gameplay and length of Half-Life are in perfect sync with each other, i never once felt like i was anxious for the game to end, a pretty solid experience overall

Also the gibs are way funnier than the ragdolling of Half-Life 2

Usually people only talk about the add-ons, but the base game is quite decent as well
