I remember it being fun, but the story being aimed squarely at kids. there was some fun monster-collecting stuff to it and some fun weapons/mechanics that I enjoyed, but I couldn't finish it and it wasn't that memorable beyond the core of what it is.

abandoned it to play black mesa. May return to it with its VR mod, but it's clear to see why it was so highly regarded, if a bit rough this far from it.

An interesting mechanic, and a unique look. It was a little tricky to get into it, but a fun hour or two to play.

Simple, but fun, with some cute character designs. Just a little platformer.

The game is pretty bad. It doesn't give the vibe you might expect, has a tedious way of maneuvering and their idea of "hardcore" is just unwieldy insta-death gameplay with no clear route. Mainly it's an avenue for tiddies, and while I can respect that, there's much better ways to execute and get a horny game that doesnt feel shitty to play. I will look into 2 when it comes along to see if anything is better about it, as there was maybe one or two fun parts to this.

Edit 2024: yeah I'm probably not going to check out Haydee 2 lmao

It was an alright top down shooter that just didn't stick with me.

Edit 2024: May need to give another try given how much of II's DNA it's supposed to share, though very different overall. Might click in a way that it didn't on first attempt.

1997

More interesting as a contextual throwback, but very neat to see other FPSes like this from this early fps era reinterpreted as a fantasy wizard game.

Thought it was a fuller game, but it was a neat teaser.

2010

An ugly little RTS sort of strategy game. Not much interesting here, but almost close to cool for dragon control.

Split controller-control mechanics are always interesting, especially if done well, like here. It's also got some great aesthetics and an entrancing story, even if it's not the most memorable. The gameplay is worth it alone

I love its customization options, and the physics puzzles, even when wonky are fun to work with due to the little doll guy's wobbliness. They also drip a good amount of content as time goes on

It's a little too grindy, but the characters and actual battles are fun when not too repetitive. I like the concept of the story with personified game consoles and console wars, even though the writing is... rough.

Fun platforming with cute characters and a good variety of mechanics/ moves to traverse with, nothing too grand but a good game for pretty cheap

warriors games are sort of brainless, but the variety and core gameplay is very fun. that, the adventure modes, and the mish mash of zelda content was very entertaining here. A great game. Frankly, I'm nervous for the follow up as I'm not confident it will have as much variation that made this work, blending all zeldas except BOTW to some degree.

Pretty environments, a decent aesthetic, but the game's story was a fucking drag to get through. Not much was interesting, and the ending invalidates the game preceding it. I was going in and getting excited at first, but finally it just died a bad death. I've since sworn off this dev's games, and judging by some other reviews I've encountered, for good reason

2024 edit: I will always remember this as one of my most hated games for how bad it felt despite mainly just being generic
