One of the platformers to exist ever

This game altered my brain chemistry in a way that should not have been physically possible, and I have only played the first game in the collection...

I hate how hypocritical it is with its message. Yet, it's one of the most important games in my life. Even if the corporate side of this game burns everything the story tries to convey, it still got to me physically and emotionally. I just hate that it was this game that was able to do that.
