Top-tier cinematography, world-building, music, and unique traversal. The story is.... very Kojima (very dumb, extremely self-confident, and weirdly compelling) and the gunplay is good (not great). It does a lot of very weird things right (great baby sidekick and supporting character cast) and a bunch of things wrong (the vehicles are a mixed bag), but overall it's an extremely interesting and polished game that everyone should probably try even though it is NOT guaranteed to click for them.

Personally, I'm VERY excited to see what Kojima Productions does with the sequel.
