Takes everything I've loved about every previous Metroid entry and fine tunes them into an absolute blast of a game. Also probably the most engaging Metroid story for me, perfectly keeping the balance between isolated and atmospheric gameplay with both exciting cut scenes and visual storytelling. A perfect difficulty in my opinion and honestly begging to be re-played already. Really love this game.
Had the potential, just ultimately fell short of what I was hoping for with this when I first hear of it.
This absolutely blew me away. Love these couch co-op games and playing this with my partner really brought me back to the college days of playing Portal 2 co-op in her apartment on Saturday mornings.
Every inch of this game is filled with creativity and I constantly found myself with the biggest grin on my face. It looks great and runs wonderfully. Had a few problems with some of the story beats and a bit of the mechanics were somewhat repetitive but none of that even comes close to shadowing the absolute joy I had with this game. Definitely recommend this one.
