Works very hard to improve upon the previous predecessors. INCREDIBLE worldbuilding, fun story mode and gameplay, and interesting side content like Salmon Run and Tableturf.

Story was middling (NOT including OE) and more or less a carbon copy of Splatoon 1. The worldbuilding music and fashion more than makes up for it, though.

Interesting premise, but the side quests (especially the koroks) needed for 100% completion are more of a grindfest than anything else.
