I was very surprised with the score this game has in backloggd (~3.6 at time of writing). This is for sure one of the best CRPGs out there. It has deep lore that pulls you in and makes you want to read more about it. Interesting characters with distinct backstories and amazing music. Playing this games feels like entering another world.

The game plays like a detective novel. You walk around talking to NPC and trying to figure out how to help or trick them. There are a few nuances that I will not spoil.
"Puzzles" have, for the most part, several ways to be realized and the writing is captivating and fun.

Finally, if you feel you are playing a Skyrim/Oblivion mod it is because it started as such. The game is very polished!

After the first stretch in the castle you kinda expect that every zone will have the same length and quality but this was not the case. Nevertheless, the game manages to mix a lot of experiences while maintaining the gameplay quite balanced.
I was also happy to see how they are tying the game with the predecessor through all the wacky and nonsensical stuff japonese game devs are known for instead catering to the CoD demographic.
