An exploration of James Ensor's work through a point & click hidden object adventure game. It succeeds in combining the older historic art with the new interactive medium of video games without taking away of either.

The game feels stiff and slow to play, with long and tedious dialogue and messy combat. The dungeons had some fun "puzzles" when opening door and the progression path of upgrading the town are cool but not enough to save this game.

While the game released in a bad state and the main story line isn't all that compelling. The excellent side stories and their character work won me over in a gorgeous city brimming with live. Heavy on atmosphere this is still a great game to boot up and get lost in.
