it's likely due to me playing on switch but this is just unplayable. (i haven't tried in like. at least a year, but i realized i haven't reviewed it before tho)

I definitely enjoyed playing this prologue that they've released, and I'm excited for future chapters!!!! :D
The idea to make the prologue chapter not actually have someone die but the Mastermind forcing them to do a "practice trial" for an old already solved murder was ingenious!! it's got me wondering if this isn't the first time the game's been conducted~
I think my favorite characters are Eloise and Wolfgang, I really REALLY want to see them interact with each other more. So I'm hoping they even talk to each other a little bit more before either of them die.
The plot is definitely a 5/5 for me so far but....... the game mechanics...... are like a 2??? (not as in, they're bad, but there's just some QoL stuff and some other changes that need to be made i think that would drastically improve the player's experience. go watch nezumiVA's video, she basically says everything i want to say on the subject.) like, it's so hard to Do Things in the game, which sucks, and i think there's a few small things that could be added into the thing to make the experience more enjoyable (like, maybe a sound effect when you're absorbing the words for the pathos bullets. or like a meter bar, so you can tell that you're actually absorbing and you didn't misclick??)
I'm putting it as a 3 but i still think you should absolutely check out this game <3 it's so much fun to me as a danganronpa fan

It's not my first time playing rune factory 4, nor is it my first try playing the game on switch. I've decided to give it another shot this time, as last time I didn't even come close to finishing it on here (not that I finished the original game, but I got much farther in that game than this one.)
I love farm sims, and I love rune factory, so I really hope I like it this time.
