i spent 11hrs in a day just playing this game, it's been ages since i've fallen into a trance like this. I FVCKING LOVE SMT

im getting absolutely BUTTFUCKED on hard mode by tiamat. when her healthbar gets red, she starts spamming Impaler's Animus-boosted partywide physicals which kills 3/4 of my turn bar Nahobino, and then I can't keep up with damaging her because she casts mediarama every turn.
absolutely sinister fight, i had to use up alot of my best essences to stand a fighting chance now

finally finished CoV Chaos on Hard. i still believe that the game is fucking amazing, but it really starts to fall apart by endgame. im not all that big on the last grinding stretch, especially when you have to pay those extra bucks just to streamline the mitama farming. its so lame, especially when everything pre-temple-of-eternity is so balls-to-the-wall back-to-back fun. yeah, im even defending taito here. tiamat's gimmick is kinda cool, mastema is boring, and lucifer is much better now, but still not all that interesting.
please stop with the day1 DLC shit, ATLUS. i wish i could play around with konohana sakuya's toolkit, but i gotta stick to my principles.
gonna play CoC (for the 3rd time now) in order to see what changes theyve made to it in this rerelease. i might end up dropping this to a 4.5★, but i hope it doesnt have to come to that.

i neglected studying for an exam in college cause i was so addicted to replaying this in february. god this game is so good. it holds up so well, even after galleria's release.
fuck the latter half of Umbra tho (and literally all of Rosatempus, i saved up all my silver spoons just so i could blitz through it as fast as possible)

i did not enjoy this game as much as i was hoping to. maybe im suffering from persona overload, but i had to play this game in short bursts in order to beat it, unlike how i was able to sink huge blocks of time each day into SMTVV. musics still great tho, for the most part (R.I.P Master of Tartarus, they butchered u so hard) and i found some new appreciation for SLs that i previously hadn't thought much of, like yuko's (best girl) and mutatsu's.
...i really hope P6 shakes up the nu-Persona formula. and i hope its done in such a way in order to filter a majority of the current tendies and ATLUSbabies that plague my feed each day.

promo art is nice (kinda looks like @/AetherionArt's stuff), but in-game sprite art isn't at the same standard.
it also tries too hard to be sexual, which ends up just looking kinda gross (STFU I KNOW ITS AN EROGE)
definitely not my thing, but i know some stone-cold gooners that'll have a field day with this game.
...at least the gameplay is fun.

going to start playing this soon, i really hope i end up enjoying it.
(a jrpg with platforming sequences sounds very interesting, i had no choice but to pick it up.)
...20 mins in, and i kinda like the platforming here. i mean - its pretty basic, but i enjoy that there's lots of verticality in the world (and lots of little nooks and crannies to find chests in)
overworld navigation is probably the main puzzle of this game - hopefully it doesn't get too obnoxious.
