So much of who I am as a person has been shaped by this game. From the really incredible story for a skateboarding game from '03, to the impeccable soundtrack, to the freeflowing gameplay loop that could still keep me hooked for hours on end, I am in love with this game. I love this game so much I speedran it for a while and I was actually pretty good at it.

I mean, come on.

An absolute all-timer for me. Shaped my brain as a child in ways that other media wishes it did. Trying to set it up now on PC to play with mods to make the game harder and the combat deeper.

Story is anime as hell and the ending is something that I didn't know I wanted out of a Tekken game. I hope you know how to play Jin, though, you're gonna play a lot of him. Like, basically half of the story is just Jin.
