this game ruined my fucking life 10/10

This is peak gaming, i loved Cal's story, the character dynamics, the way he grew throughout, the movement, the combat, the visuals it was all amazing. The 5 star rating could be recency bias but no matter what I love this game.

Nearly everything I love about trails in one game, the culmination of the cold steel and crossbell arcs, and it was an amazing experience. Possibly my favorite trails game, if not it's extremely close. I haven't the words to describe what I think of it completely, it's simply that good.

Technical issues aside, I actually really liked the game. A lot of the new Pokémon are cool, the story and characters are good, and traveling around the region and completing things in any order you want is fun. If they had given it more time to optimize the games performance, it would be rated even higher.

this was such a breath of fresh air for the sonic series. Amazing experience, I got the platinum trophy on playstation and it was worth it. With news of dlc coming out, this score could even go up. It's not perfect of course, but it's great just seeing a modern 3d sonic game with good characterization, fun combat and traversal, and great music, though even the worst sonic games have good music.

I can hear them
the drums of peak fiction

This game. Peak fiction, zenith of the medium, unrivaled storytelling, etc etc. It solidified the Nier games as one of the 3 series that cycle through being my top 1 game series, and it's often at the top. I love the characters and the world, and finding the lore in whatever place Yoko Taro decides to put it, whether it be a novel, a gacha game, a stageplay, some random final fantasy crossover or a cd, is honestly really fun.

I wouldn't call it the best trails game, or even the best cold steel game, but it's my personal favorite. Something about it is special to me, and despite some flaws that became apparent when I got the platinum trophy in the game, I still love it.

I decided to start getting the platinum trophy for every DMC game since i already had 5SE done and dmc is one of if not my favorite game series of all time. I got the platinum for dmc1, loved the game way more upon revisiting.
DMC2 however, went from me thinking the game is boring to outright hating it. It's only redeeming qualities is the second phase of the final boss and the fact that it introduces a couple series staples, such as the lock on system, rebellion, and bloody palace. the game has absolutely no bearing on the dmc narrative, has piss poor level design, extremely clunky gameplay that's easy to break, and is far too easy. I'd give it 0 stars if i could.

my favorite dmc game in the series. I love everything about it from the characters, to the gameplay, to the story.

favorite game of all time, means so much to me on a personal level and i would probably just be a different person without it.
