this is Terraria on steroids

i dive, i fish, i sell, then i rich.

my very first ps4 game as it came with the box, i wasn't expecting anything from this as i thought this was actually an indie game. when i played this, i thought it had really good graphics then it turns out this was a souls game made by Fromsoft. the game actually scared me, i couldn't go past the plaza for about hours cuz i was over-leveling myself. then i came to love the game after beating Father Gascoigne to which I beat the game up to NG+3. this game is very unique, it has great material with Lovecraftian references and Victorian architecture which made the experience very fun and mesmerizing.

so this is how having a cult should feel like, really interesting..

in my opinion this is Fromsoft's masterpiece.

this is what i've expected of God of War with the next-gen environment. it has good melee combat mechanics and has steady pacing of story progression which it doesn't rushes any plots/story events. it has tons of areas to explore to and quite an amount of side content to complete. i like the quite complicated but well-constructed father-son dynamic of Kratos and Atreus. the game is also quite funny with Mimir around which spices things a bit with the duo. overall, such a great game.

this game gives you a good feeling of what combat mech should really feel like. it has tons of customizable options and has the freedom to build whatever you like such as melee-focused, sniper, or artillery mechs. i don't like the story that much subjectively it's a mix of science and fantasy which i'm not a fan of and it has fake sense of character progression with the arena. not that very interesting to dig deep into in my opinion unless you are reading lore-heavy with the previous AC titles and for it's endings but overall with it's satisfying combat mechanics, it's a good game.
