for the sake of this review (and my sanity) i’m going to pretend the eroguro elements of this game… don’t exist! :)
i love corpse party.
uncovering the mystery behind heavenly host academy, whether or not it’s possible to escape, as well as the fate of the main cast is extremely interesting to watch unfold.
it’s kind of like a slasher film… except ANYTHING can kill you. not just the armed man that’s chasing you for apparently no reason.

The fanbase behind this particular Danganronpa entry is enough to knock down my review a half-star (ONLY a half-star though.) A lot of the twists in this one were extremely predictable as well. But I’ll give it to the last trial— That one really got me.
The characters, soundtrack, and aesthetics were as fun as always!

I’m rating this game in comparison to the other main series Danganronpa entries.
I’d say DR:THH excels in atmosphere and intrigue, SDR2 in story and characters (and fanservice), and DRv3 in gameplay and aesthetics.
Side note: I still remember the shock of watching Leon’s execution as if it were yesterday. Fucking brutal. Definitely my favorite execution in the series.
