Charming, funny and beautifully weird. Definitely one of the best non-Mario Mario Games and full of great ideas. Stunning visual presentation that truthfully captures the spirit of the original.

Overall a bit too easy but I had a great time, special mention / shoutout to the German localization!

I did not expect the story to spiral out this well and some of the scenes are simply amazing in their daring wackiness. Gameplay-wise this is probably the best Remedy game but sadly still a Remedy game.

Have not had this much fun with a 2D Mario since Yoshi’s Island

This was definitely much more stressful than originally anticipated
