So compared to the 1st Pikmin game, this situation reminds me a lot about the Sly Cooper series. 1st in the series focuses on a compelling story and simple gameplay. 2nd is an expansion off the 1st one with a focus on the gameplay. Pikmin 2 did everything right while expanding on just looting treasure. I felt the direction they were going in by introducing Louie and the President to give a more proper cast to follow. Louie, who I didn’t save cause I was burned out by all the damn caves exploration and hating that I died on the last sub level of FRONTIER CAVERN. Big whatever boss rolled over all my Pikmin and I yelled. I ended up not 100% the treasure cause of there’s too much management with these Pikmin, they lover to throw themselves in all kind of danger. So, sorry Louie I’m glad that there’s a 3rd game in the series.
