My gripes with this game might be a bit silly since this is primarily a sandbox game, but considering this has a campaign, it feels fair to criticize the gameplay. Totally Accurate Battle Simulator has some serious balancing issues. A big portion of the levels can be beaten with the same units, to the point that I was able to beat 5 campaign levels in two minutes with the same setup, while other units never seem to do anything. This is not to say that there aren't genuinely challenging levels with some creative solutions, but it overall greatly diminished my enjoyment.

At almost no point did I feel like I had to put any serious effort into my strategies — but maybe that's precisely the point of the game; fighting whoever you want with whatever you want. I just wish there was a little more depth to it.

We genuinely had a fun time with this game, but the occasional gunplay is weak, and the ending feels off. Not recommended if you're looking for a good puzzle game because this is not it.

The media polarizes, what a shocking insight. The game is unfortunately very linear and very short, but also feels like it's precisely what it wants to be, a very simplistic representation of reality. It succeeds, but the result is neither fun nor interesting.

Fun coop escape room game if you got 1-2 hours of free time. Especially compared to the sequels, the puzzles are noticeably simple yet surprisingly creative. However, the time limit in some levels can be quite annoying, and one of the players (the librarian) has far less to do than the other one.

Pretty simplistic yet fun party game when played with friends

Building your own family, designing their house and having them interact with all aspects of this fictional world is honestly quite fascinating.

Very fun until you meet actually skilled players, then it just becomes bothersome.

Playing a couple of games every so often is fun, but that's honestly it for me.

I still have no clue how to clear the first stage of this game.

The PvP aspect is a surprisingly fun twist on the franchise

2018

Offensive game, which simply doesn't deserve a better rating. It was fun while it lasted, I guess.

Has a couple of fun gameplay concepts and gorgeous art, but I got stuck once and really didn't know how to proceed.

Simple yet surprisingly fun city builder.

One of the first video games I have ever bought, and worth its money at the time. It's just something I'm not super into these days.
