Charming and a bit creepy, but the base gameplay is repetitive once you understand the mechanics

Not very scary and the mechanics often clash with each other, but the custom night challenges make the game a bit more interesting.

Not very scary or difficult, and the gameplay feels very similar by around the midpoint. The secrets within the game give it some life, but overall it's not great.

A good breath of fresh air for the series with some more interesting gameplay than before. Some parts of the game feel janky and unpolished however, and certain animatronics are just unfair.

The gameplay feels very slow and there's little suspense for most of the game. While I appreciate the fact that the game is different, it simply isn't fun to go through, especially with the scarce autosave points which force you to go through the same section multiple times in order to reach the actually challenging part, only to fail and be forced to try again. The custom night also isn't super interesting for me, although it is a bit more fun than the base game.

The pizzeria parts are fun due to being able to make your own pizzeria as complex or simple as you'd like, but the office sections feel incredibly luck based and repetitive. There's some secrets to try and look for which are fun for lore enthusiasts, but beyond that there's not a lot here.

The challenges are fun to strategize for and plan, making for an interesting and dynamic experience with that portion of the game. Once you attempt to go for the large scale challenges though I feel like there's too many different mechanics to make for anything enjoyable. Still solid and fun though.

A lot of fun with friends with the potential for some interesting plays. I think the airship is too big for its own good with smaller lobbies, making it almost impossible to find bodies, and public lobbies can often make the experience unenjoyable due to strange rulesets or people being entirely illogical. Still very fun though.

While I'm aware this game has received an update with more seasons, for me this game felt nothing more than a fad that grew old and died out quickly. For the time I played the game though, it was a pretty fun experience, although the hacker issue made lobbies unenjoyable. Also, once you win your first game, the rush to try and get another win is significantly diminished, making the game feel short despite the price.

A tense game with some fun action and its very satisfying to win. There's some issues with performance and you can lose games instantly simply due to poor gun rng, but this game is very enjoyable so long as you have a high capacity for stress since it can be very tense in tough situations.

Really fun with a lot of different ways to challenge yourself or strategize to beat the game's toughest challenges. Very charming with the designs as well, coming together to create a very enjoyable experience.

2008

While there's a nostalgia influence for me, I do think this game has some fun qualities. Being able to customize your own character is fun and there's a lot of diversity in how you can play the game depending on what you're in the mood for. Objectively there's a lot of bugs and some crashing issues, but I still find myself having a lot of fun with this game.

One of my all-time favorites. The music, bosses, and art style come together very well to form a very fun game with a lot of diversity in how you can play the game with a lot of replay value.

A visual marvel in every aspect, this game is beautifully crafted with puzzles that are very unique and unlike anything I've played before. It's very fun to play through and solve all the different puzzles and challenges, and the art style makes it appealing for the eyes too. While a bit short, I definitely recommend this game.

I've played this game for a while, and still continue to play it, but I'm still making this review since I have enough experience with the game. While Geometry Dash is a buggy game with some unfinished features, levels feel very gratifying to beat after dedicating your time to them in a way that few games are able to replicate. You can approach playing the game in several different ways, with the choice to gain as many stars as possible, or to care less about stars and instead attempt to beat the hardest levels the game has to offer. You can also use a broad level editor to build your own creations which can be shared and even rated by the developer on occasion, allowing more people to see what you've created. You can also do a combination of everything listed above as there's really no right way to play, and that's what I like about it.
