the past missions feel like a true black ops 2 and are definitely the highlight. the future missions were pretty mid barring a few of them. easily one of the best cod campaigns regardless

lower tier level design and story than cod usually has, but one thing it has that really sticks out is the rpg-like upgrades system you have that i think was an AWESOME addition to cod campaign and should've became a staple. also made playing the game on veteran more bearable which was nice

don't have much to say on the campaign as it's just your standard, fun cod campaign with a silly but enjoyable story and characters.

having played only symphonia and vesperia beforehand, the combat is a HUGE step down imo, and a really unfortunate and unavoidable downside to the game that instantly weighed it down from the start of it. the story isn't anything spectacular for like, the first whole half of the game, but during the second half and most specifically the last few hours of the game, the story gets GREAT and even my least favorite characters of the party had good moments. for the first half especially, the party is a weaker point as well but not nearly the downside the combat is as there are still some great characters. if velvet was more interesting as a character (she's amazing story-wise but pretty boring for a main character) and we had more traditional tales gameplay, i'd have easily rated it higher.

what i believe to be a nearly-perfect game. the levels are all TONS of fun (yeah, even cortana) and the sandbox is bigger than ever with tons of cool new vehicles and weapons added from halo 2's already vast and exciting sandbox. the gameplay feels as good as ever, and the story is super enjoyable (i just wish we saw more shipmaster)

if i had to say ONE bad thing about halo 3's campaign, it'd just be that i wish we had health again, so it could pave the way for a more balanced legendary difficulty, and considering legendary is still eons better than halo 2's and tons of fun, it's hardly a bad thing.

an excellent spinoff that retains the classic, loveable halo gameplay and level design (some of the best levels in the series), with a nice, different take on the world of halo. the rookie levels have a really nice atmosphere and really help set the mood, but could've afforded to be a bit shorter, and the game could've afforded to be a bit longer with an extra full mission or two thrown in there (but it's understandable as to why it's short since it wasn't MEANT to be a $60 game)

when you're not doing the jobs that are just walking simulators or mashing simulators, this game is an absolute blast with a really fun story and hilarious, memorable characters. considering its short length (took me around 10 hrs) as well, this game is an EASY recommendation for me.
