Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards
incredibly aesthetically pleasing and a fun time, Combining abilities is a very interesting concept for Kirby that's weirdly unique to this one.
My only real issue with this game is that just as many of the modern 3D Kirby games, the movements are incredibly sluggish and not as fun to play as the 2D ones

The Sky Crawlers: Innocent Aces
Them making Ace Combat 3 really inspired by Mamoru Oshii's Ghost in the Shell and then having him making a plane fighting movie that was followed by a game from the Ace Combat team is just so fascinating to me.
Watching the movie and playing this back to back was a really cool experience, the motion controls need some getting used to but once you do, it's a really enjoyable experience

Ace Combat 3: Electrosphere
An ace combat game made just for me, it was my first Ace Combat and gameplay felt rough but it will definitely get a revisit from me now that I "got good" with other entries to see how it stacks up
as it is, purely for its scenario and aesthetics, this is my favorite game in the franchise so far alongside The Sky Crawlers which only kinda count

Kirby's Dream Land
This is a very short and basic, yet cute game. I was surprised to find that Kirby's copy ability actually isn't in this one, but aside from that, it's actually shockingly consistent with later releases I've played on the DS and Wii. Many of the enemies and bosses look exactly the same, Kirby still dances at the end of every stage, and much of the music is familiar. The only real flaw is that the final stage features a rematch against the boss of every stage before it, and the game is only twenty minutes long in the first place, making it feel a bit redundant. Pretty solid experience otherwise, I'll probably play it a few more times.
