It's so crazy to me how this was the first 3d gta game and Rockstar nailed it so perfectly. Liberty city is just as fun to traverse as it as in gta 4 and when mixed with memorable characters this game makes for a great time. I don't have an strong opinions on the story in gta 3, I think for their first try it's pretty good. My main criticism is that Claude doesn't talk, which for me at least makes me feel less involved in the story similar to gta online. I also feel like the story just kind of ends rather abruptly, like one minute your doing missions normally and then all of a sudden the credits are rolling. On the topic of missions, some of them in this game as just SOOOOO hard for no reason at all, I'm looking at you "grand theft auto" and "grand theft aero". The gameplay in gta 3 is also not the best, gunplay can be tricky at times and it feels like you die after 3 shots which makes the game extra hard during missions with big shootouts. Overall, gta 3 has a lot of good and a lot of bad which when put together make for a fairly solid start to the 3d gta games.

There's nothing better in life than having people think you're helping them.
Popularity is absolutely key when moving forward. If you play your cards right, anything seems necessary. A massacre, a young girl with a slit throat, the dissolution of a people, a crushed slave revolt.
They'll do it all for you, if you know how.

i fucking love arcade games with pure analog sensivity

História muito superior ao Black Ops 2. A missão que toca "Sympathy For The Devil" é incrível.

[only played campaign] somewhat aged gunplay and sometimes its too gray but it's not a huge deal because the story is good enough to carry it. gotta say though, its so morbidly funny to me that this game (in which you spend hours mowing down hundreds upon hundreds of people) feels the need to censor the curse words in the subtitles lmaoo

A really cool, short experience. Really janky but it is memorable. Specially that part where there is an enormous moon with an eye and a nurse says "It is commutable to know that when I look at the sky, there is someone looking back." (or something like that).

It's like Blood in the Hypnospace universe, and just like Hypnospace this game stands out for it's charisma. It really does feel like a game made by a 14 yo edgy kid with 0 self-consciousness and that is just awesome.

I always seemed to get lost in the sandbox aspect of the game and never got around to finishing the story, but today I finally finished the game in its entirety. This game is and always will be one of my favorites due to nostalgia but also for it being a product of its time. The physics and AI still rival and even outperform most games being released today. Now onto another GTA 5 playthrough :)

port sucks mad gorrila dick!!! but MGS is Back! I'm so happy to see this Franchise which was almost erased from Existence come back to Life! Can't Wait for Volume 2 and Delta: Snake Eater

(Review of the campaign only.)
I was skeptical with this game, first because I don't really like the aesthetics of modern warfare games, second because I though that a big portion of the praise this game gets is purely because of nostalgia. I still think that nostalgia is a big portion of why people love this so much, but having now played it I can say that nostalgia is not all there is to it.
MW2 has an excellent immersion and pacing. The missions feel shorter than in other Call of Duty games I've tried, but it is just entering one and being immersed for the full mission. The scenarios, the npcs, the sound and the music makes you always feel like you really are out in the battlefield.
For the story, I can't really tell. You can point this at me having ADD, but I really think I'm not the only one who thinks that the story of the old CoD games is very hard to follow, and this in MW2 feels even worse than other games of the series. I love "No Russian", I think that it is impactful in a good way, and really helps set the tone of the whole campaign, but I think that it does feel kind of off because of the fact that it is hard to follow what was even happening, and while I apreciate how straight to the point the game is, I think that there could have been a bigger effort on making the plot understandable.
Overall, MW2 is a great title. I don't like it nearly as much as WAW or BO1, but it definitely surprise me since the modern warfare is not a theme I'm particularly invested in.
