The puzzles are decently fun but I got tired of them after some time. The Pokemon in this game are very cute though and it may be worth checking out for that alone?

It's very good at building a tense and unnerving atmosphere.

I played the NES bootleg many times for some reason. It felt bad, looked bad, and the UI would disappear whenever I got to this one helicopter boss.

From what I remember it was a generic "find the items" point & click with goofy, bad writing.
It's not the worst game I've ever played, but it's probably the worst one I've completed.

This was the first 2D Mario game I completed, and while the presentation of this subseries grew increasingly bland with each release I found this game pretty refreshing at the time.

2021

A short puzzle game with a fun concept, the ending was a tad abrupt though.

Innovative and aged as well as can be expected.

It's short, it's cute, has nice sound design. The typing mechanics are not deep but that didn't really bother me. Some of the animations, especially the pizza assembly, gave 90's point and click which I enjoyed.

Stadia was not the ideal way to play this game, the image quality was very bad. Which is why it's a testament to the strength of this game's writing and atmosphere that I was still so damn invested and blown away.

The only real complaints I have are with the enemy encounters which could often drag, but I enjoyed the mechanics enough to avoid feeling the repetition (mostly).

A basic but enjoyable puzzle game about some cute animals building railways.

I had very little Final Fantasy experience when I first played this, so it was a fun way to acquaint myself with the music and general vibes of the series (that I hadn't gotten from Kingdom Hearts).
The base collection of songs was very small, it didn't bother me much at the time but in hindsight it was pretty lacking without DLC. That said, I think they made good selections for what was included and combined with the gameplay made for an enjoyable and addictive time.

An unnerving and sympathetic portrayal of life under the weight of trauma and mental illness. Short and well worth the time.
