super interesting & engaging story, with really memorable characters and moments, and innovative branching paths. the fusion and combat systems are great, not to mention the fun dialogue and demon negations, with wonderful pixel art as well!

that all said though, the actual dungeon exploration has not aged well in my opinion. seeing the genesis of this series has been pretty fun but i would say it’s not worth it unless you have a hankering for a lot of old school dungeon crawling.
