Thankfully the game got extremely repetetive so fast that it was within Steams 2-hour refund window.

When you solve a puzzle at the Obra Dinn it feels "correct" in a way other games dont feel. A very special feeling is invoked that extremely few others can produce.

The attention to detail and historical accuracy is more akin to an interactable history book than a game. Discussing daily woes with a 1400s carpenter while eating rye-bread and walnuts was immensely enjoyable.

The wider storyarch leaves more to desire. In an attempt to seem mysterious it feels hyperbolic and falls a bit flat.

Still an easy recommendation to anyone with the slightest historical interest.
