I wish I liked this game. I don't think it has very much going for it however. It does not have very much depth, and is a very mediocre dungeon crawler at best. There is some cool stuff, but mainly just has nothing extraordinary.

Chill little game to play for a little bit, but definitely over on the forgettable side.

Chill game to play with friends. Good simulator, but I would get bored if it was just me. Definitely a vibe when you just wanna relax with friends while still playing something. 100% better with a mouse.

This game is like the annoying little cousin that keeps coming over to your house so you beat the shit out of him and throw him along with the rest of your friends off of a moving Semi-Truck. Funny game.

I think this is a really good entrance game for those who like roguelikes, but have yet to figure out how they work or how to play them.

It's very simple to understand and is pretty much a demo to a full game that is coming out in 2024. It lays out everything that you would need to know pretty efficently, which most roguelikes say "here's level one, figure it out." This to me is a very nice thing for newer players to the genre but removes some of the initial charm games like Risk of Rain 2 or Gunfire Reborn have.

Very excited for the full game, looks very promising!

Best horror shooter out there, one of Valves best games to date

Funny little game, had some good times with friends and will make us laugh, also physics are pretty clean for a game like this which is fun.

Fun horror coop game I will always be coming back to.

Definitely better with friends, would be bored out of my mind if I played alone.
Goofy movement system makes it funny, but also a pain in the ass at some points.
Cool thing about the game is there are a bunch of solutions to puzzles, you can cheat pretty much every level but it does encourage that at some points.
Overall, fun game with friends.

Where do I even start with this game?

This question I find comes up to new Terraria players and the main question I thought of while making this review. I think that’s part of the beauty of the game, the fact that you could start anywhere and still progress.

The game is so jam-packed with stuff in the best way possible, because whatever you may find fun, whether that be building a house, mining or exploring the world you created helps you out in one way or another. That’s why my advice to new players is to do what yourself tells you what to do.

I think the main complaint mostly everyone has is that a lot of the late game gear is crafting trees, long recipes that require many smaller things to get one powerful thing. This is time consuming and somewhat grindy, but I believe that makes whatever you’re going for satisfying to finally get.

The game is simplistic in style while still maintaining a semi-complex core, attracting new players and hooking advanced players. Not to mention mods also increase the items, bosses, pretty much everything and enhances the experience so much if you get the right ones.

This game was just made right. That’s the only way I can describe it.

2020

Haven’t fully completed but will eventually pick up. Amazing rouge like which is unique and mixes mythology with an addictive and interesting style of gameplay. Will definitely finish soon.

Pros:
- Story is actually coherent and somewhat interesting, especially the second half
- Playing with someone who makes it fun and unserious enhanced the experience 10 times (@TheLostMan)
- Very forgiving game, many checkpoints in case something annoying happens
- Lots of smaller details that seem cool
- Wheelchair minigame, and others were hilarious
- Vincent ass
Cons:
- Most part of the events are clunky and somewhat difficult, featuring unintuitive controls at points
- Some of the cutscenes feature the stiffest movement I have ever seen in a videogame
- Very unfocused, jumps from play style to play style while being banded together by QTEs
- Taking it seriously is not fun
- Sometimes a walking simulator
- Some parts are predictable and just boring
- Unpolished mess at points, and at others just seemed rushed

Summary:
This game is best taken not seriously. It features a lot of stuff that is so much more fun if you explore and take the time to check them out. Short game, around 6 hours playtime. Play it with someone who you can joke around with and doesn’t take it fully seriously as the game is just genuinely funny if you try to have fun. Very very clunky most of the time but forgiving. Would recommend as a quick little game to keep you over before you find another game to get addicted to. Solid game.

Waiting for the next update smh

Now that I have around 15 hours of this game in about 2 days, I think I am ready to say that this is undoubtedly a 5 star masterpiece.

Lethal Company is the story of some goofy workers trying to get scrap for the company they work in order to meet a quota, while everything, alive or not, tries to kill them.

This is one of my favorite co-op games already. Playing with a full party of me and 3 of my friends is pure chaos and comedy. One of dies to a mine, another to a monster, another by falling, while the last one alive is scared out of his mind calling our names into the darkness wonder where we all went.

The art and audio is very interesting but perfect for this game, the monsters are all equally goofy but terrifying, and the replay-ability is excellent since every dungeon is procedurally generated.

What a gem of a game, so hilarious and terrifying, while being simplistic and fun. It was awesome learning the ropes and laughing at my friends dying stupidly. It has been so great so far. I’m excited for what is to come with this game.

This game is straight up charming.

Done originally by almost a one man show, Toby Fox did really well on this game. The music is peak, the characters are interesting and different from one another, and the story can go a lot deeper if you really look into it.

Not gonna say too much cause game was so much better the first 2 or 3 blind runs through, just don’t let the weird shitty side of the fandom scare you away.
