Having played 0 last year was good prep for this game because I knew some of the characters already. (Even though Goro Majima makes no sense here compared to 0.) Anyway, same formula as 0 but it's not one that gets old. I could beat up a million groups of street toughs,... which is good because they're around every single corner.

I play on Normal difficulty, keep in mind. The combat in this game has several problems which frustrate to the point of it just not being fun. You can't cancel or back out of attack animations. Inputs sometimes feel unresponsive. Enemy attack animations are forced to connect so even if you dodge away from them, they literally slide across the floor to stick to you to continue whatever barrage of attacks they're delivering. The unblockable attacks on some enemies are so frequent and random that it's almost impossible to find a way in and when you do, it only takes off a fraction of their block meter which refills if you're not aggressive enough. Such strange stuff. It's just not fun. Was this first game like this? I can't remember.

Pretty fun. Not THAT hard. Although with two people it's nearly a visual mess at times and keeping track of your character becomes difficult which makes it all harder than it needs to be.

A really good game. Great art, great character design, great characters, great story and a lot of fun.

About 77 puzzles and I beat it in 3 days. So, clearly they're not that hard. But it was a nice way to pass time. I'll probably buy the DLC.

This is a really cute birthday game. Sometimes there are Halloween games or Christmas games. This is a birthday game. It should be played around your birthday.

I wouldn't ever recommend playing this game to anyone I know, even Star Wars fans. It wasn't awful or anything but it's not THAT fun. You man several vehicles throughout but they never actually tell you how to control them or what any of the buttons do. You just gotta figure it out. For some of them, I never did. The STAP had some wave attack. I didn't know what that was but it killed things. I guess that's all that matters.
Also, when I was flying the STAP through the forest, I truly had to "use the force". You're going so fast and you explode if you hit a tree.
The on-foot sections were pretty weak. I just kept throwing my lightsaber because swinging it was a mess.

(I was DEEP into the penultimate mission when there was a disc read error. When I restarted, they put me all the way at the beginning of the mission and so I lowered the difficulty. It was extremely easy the second time around but OH WELL!)

Amicia is so freakin' cool, man. But her absolute obsession with Hugo is positively strange to me. Like, he's not THAT great.

Anyway, game is fine. Story was alright.

I love the Dark Pictures Anthology. This game is the end of Season 1. Like, what does that mean? There's no meaningful connection between any of these games, I don't think. And the second "season" seemingly starts almost immediately considering this game ends with a trailer for the next game.
The Devil in Me is theoretically the second best game in this series of four. Probably the worst in terms of actually functioning properly without game breaking glitches and bugs, but second in how good it is were it to work properly.

This is a really easy game. And that's what I'm looking for! I thought you had only two lives to finish the game but you actually have unlimited continues. So what's stopping me? lol.

2018

This is the best VR game since that Astro Bot: Rescue Mission. I like these 3rd person view VR games a lot.

This was a bit like Banjo Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts but, babe, I couldn't build an operational airplane to save my life here.

I had fun because I only chose to get gold medals. The platinum goal would have made it not fun at all (even though I did get there a few times by chance).

It was cool. Didn't love it but I'd play a sequel if it were on GamePass or something. I think they needed to give me more currency with which to buy upgrades or make the upgrades more substantial cause I didn't really feel like I was getting more powerful throughout the game. Like, if it takes 5 hits to kill a low level enemy, spending the whole game to upgrade to 4 hits ain't doin' much.

I don't know what more you could ask for in this kind of game. It's a great update to the classic TMNT arcade game.
