One of the best games of all time. With an amazing atmosphere, creatures, symbolism, and great horror vibes, SH2 is a timeless classic. This is a horror masterpiece that everyone should play at least once in their lives.
Not the best RE game, but def the scariest. The best way to experience this game is in VR. If you can do that, you will have a horror experience that's lowkey unmatched.
This is an underrated gem in my eyes. The Evil Within is a mix of SH psychological horror and RE's more action based survival horror. The gameplay can be a little clunky at times, but the creatures and general vibe give this game a feeling like no other.
This series is a horror staple, and I think the recent remake of the first game is a perfect horror game for the spooky season. Without a doubt the best looking game of this bunch, with great atmosphere and scary goodness throughout the entire experience.
One of the best games to play with friends on the couch for spooky season. Great characters and atmosphere. Feels like a campy horror movie that you get to control and see what happens. Save everyone or kill everyone, the choice is yours.
I'm normally not a fan of horror games where you just run away and hide, but I think Alien Isolation does a good job of balancing everything out. The Alien is a horror icon, and to experience running for your life from a Xenomorph is like living out the movie in the best of ways.
Signalis is like RE and SH had a baby. Its such a classic feeling experience, but also wholly unique in its take on sci-fi based horror. I have yet to finish it, but I think back to my limited time so fondly. I think people should try this one out and see what they think.
I'd say Amnesia: The Dark Descent is one of the most iconic horror games of all time. No horror list is really complete without it SOMEWHERE on there. With an intriguing story and great Lovecraftian horror, this is a classic that everyone should at least try once.

Best horror multiplayer experience atm. Its probably my least fav on this list, but multiplayer horror is hard to come by, and Phasmophobia just keeps getting better.
