Through most of the game I was like "hey this is actually a decent solid way to convert the survival horror of the classic RE games to the game boy color" but then I got absolutely so starved for resources by the end that things became a lot less fun. The combat system is based on a timing minigame which means it's really easy to miss shots unintentionally and waste precious ammo. Combine that with a map that has a lot of tight corridors that make zombie encounters unavoidable and it makes resources disappear FAST. The map is actually really nicely sized imo, but the zombies respawning at certain parts of the game makes the tight corridor problem all the worse. If the game gave more resources or had wider environments where avoiding zombies is more possible then there would actually be something pretty good here, just those issues kinda make it a hard game to rec. the dialog and story were pretty funny tho ill give them that
