compelling. definitely a great game and a welcome sequel but ultimately doesn't do as much for me as the original and replicant did. still one of the best games to come out in the last decade

the boat sequence of this game docks it like a point and a half at least. beyond that enemy designs are lacking outside of bosses, and it feels like VR bait

unironically enjoyed this more than doom (2016)

i've bounced off of this so many times and i give up. i like the character interactions and fan service but moment to moment the gameplay is so boring

i would take a bullet for arthur morgan

the live service model for games suck, this was only playable when every update was out and available.

weapon designs are bad
map design is ok at best
clutch claw sucks
etc

i cant say a lot that hasn't already been said. i like it a lot more than rise tho

ubisoft's botw. this game copies a bunch of its peers, almost shamelessly at times, and the writing tries so hard to be funny, but it mixes things up enough and offers enough experimentation to be a fine enough experience.

as a long time fan of the series it was exactly what i wanted, although some of the new music picks are kinda bad

though the artstyle was compromised by the remake in some ways, its still a gorgeous game. its unabashedly one of the weirdest ones in all of fromsoft's library, and i love it

open-world game with the hallmarks of pretty much every other game in the genre, yet striking stylistically, taking gameplay loops you'd expect from its peers and making it into its own

i would take a bullet for ichiban kasuga

a remake but also a breath of fresh air, showing capcom can still do survivor horror if they wanna (they usually dont)
