finally got the platinum for this after 2+ years and three playthroughs. straight up my favourite video game of all time in over a decade of gaming: its narrative beats surprised me on the first time and i've grown only more fond of them since.

excellent remake that goes to show how well survival horror fans are having it nowadays. its design is pretty much timeless and the aesthetics of the ishimura create one of the most claustrophobic and strangely beautiful environments in any horror game. most welcome are the narrative changes: the fleshing out of even the most insignificant of characters injects much more emotion to what transpires as it goes on. eagerly anticipating the next one

it's okay - narratively weaker than spider-man 2018, but i strangely preferred the interactions within this. probably the breeziest game i've completed a platinum for too, which is a testament to the replayability of these games
