Cute little game, pretty easy as it's so obviously designed for a younger audience. Has some creativity, but wasted a lot of potential sadly by not doing much with it. Looks stunning and runs fine most of the time, but damn those loading times.
It's too short (like, 10 to 15h) but feels unsatifyingly streched at the same time: non-skippable dialogues and some unnecessary or repeating gameplay. 100%ing this is a pain in the a**, as missing something leads to completely restart the entire level almost every time.
One thing i'm still wondering...why is Peach here? I mean, i love her finally getting a new game, but it feels like you could replace Peach by any other character and... it would still work pretty well. This game does not really feel well-integrated into the Mario Universe.

Could've been PEAKmin easily IF there was an option to turn off any of that Pikmin throwing "help", aka auto-lock-on and that weird pause when "enough" pikmin are carrying sh*t

And the music could bop little more

Anyways, i completly lost myself in this masterpiece and played for 2 days straight with only a 5h pause of sleep.
Camera angle and map design makes this very atmospheric, many cool new ideas, good controls (except throwing), surprising references to older Pikmin titles and lots of QoL changes.
I literally cried when i 100%ed this, because we surely need to wait another decade till Pikmin 5 releases o7

I like to pretend this game never existed

Great game, was my first time experiencing any Metroid Prime. Backtracking and my inability to remember anything did drive me crazy sometimes and i had to watch a playthrough multiple times... but gameplay- and story-wise as well as graphically: very stunning. Weird they'd only remastered Prime 1 and not the whole Trilogy tho.

A pretty underwhelming platformer. It's a fun idea playing the same level again from the "back" side, but it was weird and repetitive as heck and the mini Poochy seeking was way to annoying. Thank god that's mostly optional.
Playing in multiplayer is kinda fun - if you're not trying to achieve something in that game. Otherwise it can be so irritating, we left the game for weeks.
Woolly World had such top tier music and for this game it crashed down to that weird squeaky bs that gave me headache - how?? At least graphically it's on par with it's predecessor, and some levels do have creativity.

that chapter 5 ending really hit me with depression
10/10, best JRPG i've ever played

That's the best Mario "game" since Odyssey. Very fun, creative and immersive, and the music is god-like. The open world feels very good. You will get interrupted by Bowser often, but because the level sections aren't that complex, long or hard to get to, it's not annoying. Sadly, this game is a little short, you can easily 100% it in 10h. If you loved 3D World or Odyssey or both (like me), you'll love this too.

2017

ASMR ARMS is that game everybody forgot of. Lacks content after like 5 hours max. Would've loved a more "Mario Kart-y" approach and a mode like Swordplay Showdown from Wii Sports Resort.
At this point it's basically just Wii Sports boxing but at a weird distance and with annoying dodging.

It probably is the best version of Sun/Moon, but if you played one of the predecessors there's no real point in playing this imo.

If you ignore the fact that this game runs AND looks like hot garbage, it's pretty good. If that game was thought through and polished way more, it could easily be one the best games ever.

Shows greatly what the Joy-Con could do, if anyone (including devs) would've ever cared bout that features. Can be fun at smaller parties for like 2 hours. Cringe as hell, recommended when high or drunk or both. Okay-ish, for 20 bucks, never ever worth 50-60

i liked it, fun little puzzle game, but why did i buy this twice
