UEFA 2000 is one of the football games I found for the Game boy colour and I thought it was a nice surprise.

Graphically, the characters are basic for a Gameboy, the level design sometimes doesn't make sense, for example on the football pitch in the game the grass that runs outside the ads is funny, there are images on the loading screens that are two so it gets repetitive.

Game characters I've only used from Portugal and I was impressed that they were named after real players (usually in football games back in the day there weren't many real players, instead there were fictional ones), for example Rui Costa, current president of Benfica (a Portuguese club) or even Sérgio Conceição (Porto's coach) I found incredible.

The gameplay is strange for those who are used to the new football games of today, from what I understand you have the pass button and the kick button which are very simple. In addition, you have the option of extra time or even penalty kicks (after a foul inside the goalkeeper's area or after extra time). However, these penalties are meaningless and the programming of the goalkeepers makes penalties impossible.

Another factor is how little time it has: it's simply 2 minutes for every 45 minutes in a real game! It's absurd and challenging at the same time. And in extra time, the 25 seconds you have to play is just awful because in real sport it's 15 minutes each!

In short, UEFA 2000 is ok for a gamer if you're bored of playing the same FIFA every year.

Islets It was a game that I managed to get for free from Epic Games and I thought it would be an average game, but over the course of my gameplay I started to love it.

The game's story is very easy to understand: 1 island is divided into 5 islands and your goal is to become a great warrior and bring these islands together.

The design of the game is very nice and basic, I love the enemies, I love the design of the main character (Iko) and the design of the bosses is unique.

The sword and the arrows are weapons that match the main character, and as you go through the game you get more skills like climbing, teleporting with the arrows and other things, it's amazing because you feel like you're progressing in the game.

The boss battles are so unique and often difficult that I got so angry that I wanted to quit the game, but the hope of beating these damn bosses is greater.

The supporting characters that appear throughout the islands are so engaging and some of them have their own story that demonstrates the life of this kingdom divided into 5 islands.

There's also a flying boat that you can control and take to other islands, but there are some specific bosses that are annoying but easy to defeat.

Finally, there's the final boss fight, which is fucking hard, but when you finish it, it's one of the best and you'll feel so fucking happy.

In short, this game is well worth playing if you picked it up for free at Epic Games GO PLAY IT, one of the best indie games.

This was an interesting experience, but the gameplay is repetitive.
The story is the same as in the film, of Manny and Sid taking the child to the family, only without a budget.

Firstly, Manny's gameplay is very good, the idea of throwing the kid to pick up some objects and using his trunk to attack the enemies (apart from the sound effect when you click on the down arrow and the up arrow). The bosses that Manny faces are very easy because you simply go to the boss and pick up an item, attack the item on the boss, it's very repetitive and boring, the only one is the bird's boss fight that I didn't understand how to do at all, but I managed it.
Secondly, Sid's gameplay is the most different and difficult, you don't have to take a break because if you stand still the game camera runs away and you die, and if you lose all your lives you go back to the beginning of those stages, at least there aren't that many Sid stages in the game (if I remember 3 out of the 10 stages in the game).

Thirdly, the game's soundtrack doesn't make sense, the happy music in the underground stages is very annoying and repeats very quickly, but it's a very good soundtrack.

Lastly, one of the things is when the gas weasel lets Manny fly (I don't know how the developers came up with these ideas) there's a game over song when I first played I thought I'd lost the game (what an idiotic idea that song was).

In short, this game is good, except that Sid's stages are horrible and the bosses are boring,I hope that the second game made for the Nintendo DS will be interesting.
