such an incredible fan game that expands on undertale seamlessly without straying too far from what made that game so good. perfect blend of fresh and familiar, genuinely impressive how well it keeps such a balance, all tied up with good and funny writing, great characters, and engaging gameplay that tricked me so many times into thinking this was an official prequel. I'm not much of an rpg gal so I can't say it was tailor made for me, but it excelled in basically every department -- just like undertale and deltarune -- that I genuinely can't give it anything lower than a 4.5.

one of the best platformers of all time and the textbook definition of "easy to pick up, hard to master." was super fun replaying it and finding all the secrets I missed in the first run, and also madeline is literally me.

it does the smart thing of narrowing down the small sections in which security breach was actually okay at and moves to make it the dlc's focal point. only problem is that they didn't really do anything else from there, and with it still having so many of security breach's flaws, it falls flat and is really the pinnacle of mediocrity. if you didn't play the base game this may be worth a try tbh, but otherwise it'll just piss you off with all of its missed potential.

literally everything about this game is perfect, they should just call it hollowlikes from now on

accomplishes everything it needs to with so little, being pretty scary (and really in a way beyond jumpscares), having a decent gameplay loop, and solid world building and character design. probably the best of the series.

freddy had a rough transition into 3d

easily the best transit tycoon of all time, not to mention it's free
only complaint is that it's not as dynamic or challenging as I'd like it to be but the game is so modable that that might be fixable for you (or me!)
