A step down from 2, the combat is more action oriented but the dodge mechanic just plain sucks and only is relevant for boss fights and the zombies now have a QTE when they grab you. The boss fights are a marked improvement from 2 though. Jill is a bit more abrasive, I don't hate her or anything but some of her dialogue feels a bit much. The game is much more linear than 2 as well, feels like there's less decision making, more showpieces and shit.

RE2 does a really good job with the horror vibe, it's somewhat diminished on the B playthrough though because not a great amount changes between characters. The Ada section sucked and the Sherry section wasn't great but it's opening was really good and did a good job with the horror vibe. Weapon variety is good but the hitboxes for some of the attacks feel a bit unfair, especially with stage 2 G. Really good game all in all though, shooting and movement feel really good, dialogue and story are good, nice graphics, mostly okay PC port.

ODST has such a good mix of moments where the vibes take over and cool action scenes. A greater feeling of danger to the other Halo games since you're an ODST and not a Spartan so difficulty is higher than other Halo games and it's not afraid to throw a shit ton of enemies at you. Also has the best soundtrack in the series.
