Despite the extra story content and improved graphics, I do prefer Burst over Resurrection. Couldn't tell you why. Something so charming about the lowpoly PSP models, I think. This was my introduction to hunting games and I certainly found it challenging at the time, though I imagine seasoned players will adjust easily. There's a lot of fun to be had getting to known the patterns and weaknesses of each Aragami and playing with your equipment to match them. On top of that, the cast is incredibly charming and really sells their growing bonds in the darkest times they face. It does come with era-appropriate jank, of course, but it's well worth playing for any fan of the hunting genre.

A game I enjoyed but couldn't help but feel that the routes were too... short? Abrupt? Difficult to explain. The cast is incredibly silly and charming and Teuta is a standout heroine who bounces off everyone in such a fun way, though I felt her dynamics with Shu and Crow were the best. I just can't help but feel the routes needed a little bit more time in the oven to really make the most of the incredibly fun cast. The final scenes are an incredibly unexpected gutpunch, too; I just sat there staring at my screen for a while after those last cgs hit. Expect some flaws, but if you approach it on its level Bustafellows has a lot to enjoy.

Rejet at its most Absolute Rejet Peak. Kuroyuki's art is the perfect compliment to the nightmare realm presented to us, with each route getting crazier than the last... Or so I'd like to say, but Arles and Rath's routes are a little dull, unfortunately. Every other route is, of course, a bloody nightmare; my personal favourite route is Guillan's, though Julian's is probably the best overall. It's a bit of a forgotten gem these days, but anyone interested in plot-heavy otome games and also copious amounts of blood should absolutely play this game. Switch port when?
