Really impressed they managed to fit this on a DS. Also why do DS and 3DS Mario games always have story modes on handhelds like this or Mario & Sonic? Oh well?

Amazing remake of an amazing game.
This was an incredibly fun game with a lot of cool ideas that I was impressed that they could fit on a Game Gear. Huge shoutouts to Noah Copeland and everyone who remade this, it was incredible. Loved it, play it if you have not yet.

Man, I cannot get over how amazingly this story was told. I have only cried once when playing a game, and this became so close to being number 2, I just cannot believe how well they went about the story, and I truly hope we can get that in future titles. I like Color Splash and Origami King’s story’s, but this is what I need to see more of. I wish I could give this a 9 or 10, but I just did not love all the gameplay decisions in this game. Could have been a masterpiece if they had picked by a particular style because this could have been perfect if that had been the case. Oh well, at least Nintendo decided that stories were not needed and gave us Stick- NO… let’s not ruin this review. Love this game. Play it. Please.

This was clearly very bold and daring for the time, but I do wish there were more microgames because the ones we got were extremely fun.
