yeah it's pretty great when you have reading comprehension

i didn't buy it by the way. or play it. just making sure it's actually satire.

i have a lot to say about this game and i'm going to. someday, for now i'll just say it became one of my top 5.

this game was a big deal back then.

shows it age. still great. the new superboss is great and brings some closure to brad's arc, as does the new interactions. but it's outclassed by joyful's changes.

has one of the most climatic (and possibly unfair) superbosses a RPG could have. they doubled down on the plot's closure. i liked how they fleshed out everything about lisa, buddy and brad.

It's a lot more frenetic than it's predecessor, and this time it works out thanks to the new mechanics. it wasn't as well balanced back in 2015.

also has one hell of a uncomfortable boss battle.

Controls are waaay too stiff here in the SNES verson and it's only good if you REALLY wanna play a beat'em up game meticulously.

And there's STILL better options for any of the versions. Arcade version is better, but why would you play Captain Commando nowadays when you can play Battle Circuit?

gonna compare crash 1 to dkc one of these days. just you wait.

T: R2 -> R3
(x, y) -> Platform_3D(x, y, z/x)

that's my review! Crash 1 innovates a lot just by trying to convert 2D Platforming to 3D while maintaining the feel of 2D Platforming, warts and all.

I used to like a lot this game, but the more I played it, the more it felt unbalanced as hell. still fun to fuck around with, though

loved the idea but holy fucking hell is this anxiety attack: the game

enemy placement isn't good and the demon forms aren't well balanced. a hidden gem otherwise.
