I've been waiting for this game since the first one dropped, man. I still consider it one of my favorites. While this game is still good, the narrative and the fact that there really isn't anything to do in Japan, bring it down just a bit. Still had a blast with them. It's pretty unlikely for anything else to take the #1 spot.

I haven't played the original yet(not making the same mistake I did with P3) but I really enjoy the N64 game. We'll see how this turns out.

Edit: 3 hours in. Not rating it yet. Pretty enjoyable but the tutorials are a lot more annoying than the were in the N64. Was it like that in the original as well?

Basically the only other JRPG I've played a significant amount of so far.

It's pretty awesome, I just wish I had more free time to play around with it.

About 30 hours into it. Tentative 8/10 but I can see it getting better

I have it. I've played about 10 hours, and it fixes a lot of problems I had with the original, that said having played the original recently I dont feel the massive need to finish this at the moment.

Also anything after this I haven't played yet. The order is just a vague priority list at the moment.

If I had a nickel for every franchise that revived itself with a mediocre remake, followed up by a much more well received remake, followed up by a completely new entry launching in 2024, I'd have 2 nickels.

I'm probably not as hopeful for this as other people are, just because unshackling a talented person from a group of people they've worked with years, and giving them more creative control over a project tends to go south, but I'll stay optimistic.

My siblings like the Fantasy Life 3Ds game, and I wanna play with them.

If its the entire trilogy as rumored, Im definitly willing to give it a shot.

Im add this mostly cause I might play them and it looks better as a top 10 list
