NGL I'm not a big fan of horror games, not modern ones, nor ps1 ones
But damn, this was a joy. A short atmospheric detective adventure with an epic ending
It can be kinda divided into 2 parts:
1 part - farm detective puzzle solving
2 part - some crazy shit happening in the ending
I can't speak much about the story cuz the game is pretty short and I don't wanna spoil it, but it's good, and it gets crazier.
The gameplay is mostly solving puzzles, like in old games, you have items, and you have interactable objects. Combing them, placing them in the right order, and so on. NGL I got stuck a couple of times(the lock & the painting) but overall it was enjoyable to figure out stuff on your own, and it was rewarding to figure out stuff, really good balance there, not frustrating but also not simple.
The graphics, sound, and atmosphere are on point. Man, I love ps1 graphics, the game looks and feels unique.
Overall great experience, even thought I don't like horror/walking games, that was fun
