Almost perfect, in my opinion. Cry all you want about the trooper cards, i like them, even if they do bring down the game a little bit. I think they shouldve stayed in the minigame. Best RGG soundtrack, one of the best stories, and one of the best casts in the series. I love this game. The recasts are all great, in my opinion, except i think Takechi should've stayed as an original model. It doesnt bring his boss down any, i just think using shibusawa again is a bit obvious to the fact that he's gonna be the final boss and cheap.

Really good game held back by rushed deadlines, burnout, and the usual. One of the best stories in the series, love all the characters
Soundtrack is an absolute jam like hoooly shit

literally so good. i cant describe how much enjoyment i got out of this game, especially just coming off of the first judgement. Just to list a few of the highest praise ive got:
-Tsukumo becoming a main character after his side character status in the first judgement is a really good decision. everybody loves my man tsukumo
-Kuwana is the best villian ive seen in a video game in a very long time.
-the SOUNDTRACK FUCKING SLAPS
-side content is all fun, was only really annoying once or twice
-best protagonist and friends dynamic ive seen in a video game. the gang of all time

really good game with litle to no issues, except a few

-Crane style for fighting is nearly useless outside of its EX Boost ex action.
-A few of the friends are really annoying to complete (Ebisu owner, m-side cafe couple, and yurika tachibana)
-I really wish Yagami had, as a detective, deduced that Kuroiwa was the mole on his own instead of Hamura just dropping it out of nowhere.
