i feel like ive only scratched the surface of what this game has to offer on just one playthrough

handles so much differently than future iterations

This can be hardly considered a "tactical" shooter. It's a horde shooter with weapon customization and CAG gear. It's not even a fun horde shooter either.

very good presentation but it’s a wee bit shorter than i was expecting, finished it in one sitting

This has to be one of the worst feelings games I've played in a long while. Every interaction from navigating the menu to shooting to movement just feels wrong to do. The menu seems to just be borked at times, frequently left wondering if I can even set the lobby to invite only or if I kicked someone from the game. There's not a lot of content with the game with three game modes, two of them bog standard deathmatch and the other a really weird SnD-type mode.

The only thing I can say is that the graphics are serviceable. You can still easily tell that it's a game, or that may just be my eye for spotting commonly used marketplace assets from playing these awful games so much. It can also be pretty buggy in its visuals with intense z-fighting just happening out of nowhere in the terrain or walls.

If I ever hear a game calling itself ultra-realistic ever again, I'll destroy this entire genre because that just signals your game is gonna be bad.

this is more of a party game than anything else

unfortunately the victim of content drought and embracer group
