Not a fan of the combat but still a great game, loved it!
Loved the behind the scenes of what Kiryu was doing during yakuza 7.
It was fun to beat people up as Kiryu again and the combat was fun.
I was crying like Kiryu during the ending cinematics too 😭
BUT THE BEST PART WAS THAT MAHJONG WASN'T REQUIRED FOR 100% ACHIEVEMENTS 🙏

The combat was extremely fun to play after playing 7, it also helps that Yagami's move set is insanely fun to play with.
Detective side quests were fun, except for tailing missions (I don't think any game can succeed making them fun to play. Fuck them)
I think the main story was the best story I've seen from RGG, there might be a little recency bias in play here. In my opinion the main stories haven't been RGG's strong suit, but in this they really succeeded telling Yagami's story and the bigger picture.

I think this was the best souls-like that I've played!
The combat was a mix of souls and Sekiro, so I enjoyed it tremendously
