Regrettably, Dream Drop Distance showcases the most interesting, heterogeneous level design in the entire series since KH1, only for it to be trivialized by a broken movement system. Enemies are mostly well designed, and the combat system from BBS returns, but without its best features and suffering from even worse balancing issues. The plot retains the series' imaginative charm and introduces interesting new concepts, but loses itself to convoluted, terribly bad writing.

It's a dating sim and anime hack'n'slash all rolled into an interactive cutscene.

Boring as fuck. I stopped playing it because the gacha system is atrocious; I hate it when mobile games put weapons AND characters in the same summoning pool because you're more likely to get shitty weapons than characters.
Re[in]carnation's story also hasn't connected to the Nier console games yet and truthfully I don't think it ever will.

A horrible remake that butchers the story of the first game and adds an incessant amount of unnecessary content. The combat is as bare bones as you can get and revolves around just pressing two buttons with no thought whatsoever. without a doubt one of the worst games I've played
