i need more games like this that really make me appreciate & enjoy gaming, and look at art differently. ignore any snobs who say this game is too reddit or whatever it rules

it was ok. the aesthetic was nice and it was fine, but there is nothing incredible about it, nothing that pulled me to either of the main characters to make me really want to stick with them. and it’s not like you stick with them for long lol

the game is pretty damn short, short enough that it doesn't get old, but it also prevents me from spending enough time to want to spend more time with the cast.

definitely overrated. the game sacrifices the coolest part of bioshock (rapture) for another cool landscape, but with much worse gameplay, and a lamer, more heavy handed story that makes you eye roll

made infinite a little more worth playing

this is probably the first "game" of some sort that made me feel extreme emotions. it's obvious looking at the game in context as a visual novel that would appeal to younger men who probably had anxiety and depression, but it really fucked me up for a while. but i think there's a clear positive message, even though at first many will come out of it feeling depressed that it's over. its definitely a product of its time, but i have no problem with that. also has a great community and some pretty good fanfic.

theres a lot i could say about this game, perhaps ill explore that more one day.

(i've still never done the shizune route)

i wanted to like this given the accolades but i found it annoying, hard for no reason, and the story to be pretty eh. i would have liked to get to the end of the story but this seems more like a game i'd watch someone beat than actually put in the full effort to beat it

An online competitive game you can sink into: improve, rage, become addicted, and so on. It's an excellent esport to watch and I enjoy the core gameplay a lot. I don't have the time or energy to improve anymore, but the skill ceiling is high.

Most of my issues with the game just come with the low maintenance Valve performs, as they barely improve the game now, and when they do make changes they take too long to refine them and improve those changes.

I personally don't care about skins and wish they were a lesser focus. If Valve put the time and care into their game as much as a dev like Riot did (yes, I'm typing that) the game could be even more incredible.

2016

fun mechanics, can drag on a bit long. aesthetic is cool but the story is pretty unengaging, feeling like it's not as deep as the writers want it to be.

it's a cool game for a dollar. not really amazing in any way
