Pretty solid for the story mode that takes an hour or two but wouldn't see my self replaying it. I liked the characterization of each level and some of the micro games were fun. However, I didn't like them re-using a few of the games and the bosses, despite changing them slightly to make them harder.

My childhood Mario Kart game. First actual Nintendo game I ever played. I put so much time in to this game. The Nitro courses are all right but the Retro tracks are phenomenal. The limited character roster had some strange inclusions and exclusions, but overall decent for only 16 slots.

Very solid game. The atmosphere was absolutely on point. Scarecrow and Killer Croc felt genuinely scary. The story was decent. The combat was fun and obviously influential, yet I prefer the lighter feel of the Spiderman games. The boss fights were extremely underwhelming. The two best boss fights weren't really fights, that being Killer Croc and Scarecrow. These aren't good for the fights, but instead for the atmosphere created. Poison Ivy fight was decent and challenging, but nothing special. The Bane fight was just a rehash of the Titan mini bosses. The Titan Joker fight was incredibly anti climactic. I realize that Joker wouldn't really work as a traditional fight, but I feel like there could be a better implemantation than what currently stands. What we currently have is a swarm fight of henchmen until Joker looks at the helicopter flying through and we bring him down and hit him a few times. Rinse and repeat 3 times. Overall, Arkham Asylum is a game with a strong combat system, solid story and an amazing atmosphere held back by the lackluster boss fights.

Story is insanely skippable but the gameplay is addicting

I played over a thousand hours of this during covid. I was still in elementary school and it was basically the only game I played. If someone made a way to play this version of myteam again, I would give them anything.
